Cyan har lanceret et low-cost USB og Ethernet modul, der bl.a. sigter på 'remote' monitorering i industriapplikationer (in english).
| Cyan has launched a new plug in module developed specifically for use in industrial communications. Simple and easy to use this module enables customers to add high performance USB and Ethernet functionality without needing to understand either standard in detail. The module is a cost effective solution for remote monitoring and control as required by many markets including advanced metering, vending, gaming, security and industrial control.
Ideal for complex applications requiring large quantities of flash memory and high performance analogue to digital or digital to analogue conversion, Cyan’s USB/Ethernet module will collate information from any source, and allow it to be processed and transmitted over USB or Ethernet. It can be deployed as a web server interface to control lines and sensors, or simply provide an Ethernet connection to USB hosted peripherals.
Cyan's single board module measures 2" x 2" and includes everything necessary to enable engineers to add USB/Ethernet connectivity very quickly and easily. The compact module features a powerful on board eCOG1x 16-bit microcontroller (MCU), digital and analogue interfaces, full protocol stacks and drivers as well as an embedded web server.
Included with the module is Cyan’s industry leading CyanIDE 2.0 (Integrated Development Environment) software. With automatic peripheral configuration and GCC compiler, CyanIDE 2.0 allows designers to quickly and easily configure the module, enabling faster implementation. The software configurator provides maximum flexibility in access to the MCU peripherals. With support for a wide variety of applications, CyanIDE 2.0 provides customers the ability to modify or upgrade software and future proof their USB/Ethernet enabled systems.
